- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Handle freight professionally at pickup and delivery, including liftgate operations
- Communicate with dispatch throughout the route and report delays immediately
- Represent Southline Freight professionally with every customer interaction
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- Clean driving record and current DOT medical card
- Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background check
- Professional communication skills and customer-facing demeanor
- Trade show, liftgate, or white glove delivery experience is a plus

Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled final mile deliveries to businesses, job sites, and residences
- Operate liftgate equipment for ground-level deliveries
- Verify freight condition and obtain delivery confirmations
- Plan efficient routes with dispatch and adapt to same-day changes
- Provide courteous, professional service at every stop
Requirements
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record (CDL not required for all routes)
- Ability to lift and move freight safely, including pallet jack operation
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with customer interaction
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery confirmation and communication
- Prior delivery or courier experience preferred

Operations & Logistics
Logistics & Dispatch CoordinatorCoordinate daily freight movements, driver schedules, and customer communication from our Tampa operations base.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers across daily routes and time-critical loads
- Track shipments in real time and proactively communicate updates to customers
- Coordinate pickup windows, delivery appointments, and dock schedules
- Resolve routing issues and same-day changes quickly and calmly
- Maintain accurate records of loads, routes, and delivery confirmations
Requirements
- Prior dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination experience
- Strong organizational skills and calm decision-making under time pressure
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with scheduling software and standard office tools
- Knowledge of Florida geography and freight lanes is a plus

Responsibilities
- Assist the operations lead with daily planning, staffing, and workflow
- Monitor service performance and flag issues before they reach customers
- Support driver onboarding, safety compliance, and documentation
- Step into dispatch and customer communication during peak periods
- Identify process improvements and help implement them
Requirements
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, hands-on small company environment

Requirements
